This is difficult. I’m sure I’m not afraid and anxiety as the United States seem to spiral. I keep the effort to seek tranquility between and sometimes I had to drag the ear. But the artists I like remind me of why I return, again and again in times of uncertainty.
The museums of San Francisco, museums and galleries show a focus on the history of regional art and radicalism, celebrating the local local figures like Ruth Asawa and Wayne Thiebaud related to some of our current hardest questions. I am inspired by the vision of immigration and customs enforcement attacks, internships, climate change and beauty of colonialism. It feels like catching victory from the jaw of bankruptcy.
