The global head of the current operations of Christie, Julien Pradels, the role of the American Region will promote this spring, announced the auction house on Friday (March 14). His appointment will fill the paper left by Bonnie Brennan, now the company’s General Manager.

Pradels Christie has been working for 14 years and has had leadership positions in European, Asian and America’s offices. He also carried a global effort to modernize the business and was an important player in 2013 to market Christie’s first Shanghai auction.

“I hope the colleague collaborate together, cooperating and brings it. I know that is to be strong, grow and make positive changes,” Pradels said in a statement.

Pradels will work with strategic direction, business growth and operations performed throughout North and South America, says Christie, and has a great market challenge for the houses of auctions. Christie’s sales fell 6% last year, according to estimates provided in December.

In January, Christie has announced when Guillaume Cerutti struck in eight years, overseeing in Artémis, Christie’s holding, artistic and cultural activities. That is, the Pinault Collection is the artwork of the French banknotes, François Pinault.
